Welcome to episode one of Hope Makes Chris Watch Cartoons, a bi-weekly animation podcast for Geeky Girl Experience. In HMCWC, I make my friend Chris watch animated shows that I love! We kick off with Gravity Falls’ first episode “Tourist Trapped!”
In the episode, we talk about the background of the show’s creation, Chris really loves the gnomes, Mable’s chaotic energy verses Dipper as the Straight Man character type, and more!
Also since Chris has never seen the show, he gets his own segment where he speculates wildly on the Author of the journals, Grunkle Stan, and what he hopes to see in the series.
