    Pentax Optio W10

    Wednesday 5 April 2006

After my exceedingly miserable experiences with the Casio Exilim

    and

I needed another . More importantly, I needed a pocket camera which can survive the ravages of the lint and dust usually present in pockets.

After a bit of research, I purchase a dustproof and waterproof Pentax Optio W10. I’m hoping that it is better suited for daily use. My first impressions include:

The camera feels good.. Having the moving parts working internally, instead of grinding in and out of the main body, feels like better engineering for a camera designed to live in a pocket.

I’m happy with my first twenty-four hours experience with the Pentax Optio W10 (mostly at the San Francisco Zoo). I have high hopes. More to follow.

Have you found errors nontrivial or marginal, factual, analytical and illogical, arithmetical, temporal, or even typographical? Please let me know; drop me . Thanks!
